Bagby Resolution Group’s 40-Hour Basic Mediation Training is a live, interactive professional training program designed to provide participants with a comprehensive foundation in mediation and alternative dispute resolution.

The program incorporates mediation theory and process, conflict resolution, effective communication, negotiation, ethics and professional responsibility, Texas alternative dispute resolution principles, and practical application.

Participants engage in interactive instruction, structured exercises, mediation simulations, role-play, group discussion, and skills practice designed to develop practical mediation competencies.

Attendance & Course Completion Requirements

1. Full Attendance Required

Participants seeking a certificate documenting completion of the full 40-hour program must attend the complete training. Attendance is documented throughout the course, including live virtual or in-person instructional sessions.

2. Active Participation

Participants are expected to actively engage in instructional activities, discussions, exercises, mediation simulations, role-play, observation, and feedback activities. Completion requires participation in required experiential components of the program.

3. Certificate of Completion

A Certificate of Completion documenting the applicable training hours will be issued to participants who satisfy the program’s attendance, participation, and course-completion requirements.

Training Records: Bagby Resolution Group maintains appropriate course records, including attendance and completion documentation, in accordance with its training policies and applicable program requirements.

Her ADR experience includes service as a Texas Department of Insurance mediator, Texas Comptroller arbitrator, and federal No Surprises Act dispute-resolution professional, along with training in basic and family mediation.
